What it is?

If your dog gets out and does not have a collar, a microchip is a great fail safe. It is inserted inside your dog's shoulder, so it won't fall off. The chip can be scanned and the dog can be safely returned to its owner.

How it applies?

microchips are implanted by a vet through a quick injection. Dogs and cats receive the injection along the dorsal midline, just between the shoulder blades.
