beef pizzle
Beef pizzle is well, er, what makes a bull, a bull!
Why we feed?
Beef pizzle is considered a muscle meat, and is not only a long lasting chew, but is also really low in fat and high in protein. It’s a great chew for a dog that needs to shed a few pounds, and because it is a single ingredient meat treat, helps clean teeth, instead of causing tartar buildup. It is a great alternative to rawhides, which are long lasting, however, are not digestible and can cause blockages.
How to feed?
Beef pizzle can be fed as a separate chew, for moments when you are going out and need to distract your dog, or as a big reward after a training session or a long hike! They can also be included in the 80% muscle meat part of your dog’s raw diet.
