lamb ears

The ears are attached to the head and allow sheep to hear and also helps with balance as well.

Why we feed?

Lamb ears are high in protein, full of amino acids, which help rebuild tissue, build muscle, and overall helps the body function, and low in fat. They’re a great low fat alternative to pig or cow ears. The chewiness of the ear helps keep tartar under control and keep your dog’s teeth healthy and clean.

How to feed?

Lamb ears can be given for a light chewing session or included as your dog’s 80% muscle meat in their raw diet.

Additional info?

In TCM, lamb is considered a “hot” protein, so dogs with inflammations or itchiness should avoid lamb and go for a cooling or neutral meat, such as duck or turkey. In addition, the fur on the ears is a great source of manganese.
