Not only is pumpkin a great source of fiber, but pumpkin is great for urinary health too. In addition, the seeds are beneficial and can also be used for deworming your dog!

how to feed

To feed canned pumpkin, its always best to start out slow. For small dogs, do not feed more than 1 tablespoon in the beginning. For medium to larger dogs, 1-2 tablespoons is a good starting point. Monitor how your dog does with pumpkin, then you can gradually increase up to 4 tablespoons if necessary. Dogs generally love the taste of pumpkin, so there shouldn't be much enticing needed!
